Update - New Chapter New Hair
For 22 years I lived my life with jet black hair but I figured right before my 23rd birthday, I would switch it up. I never really was someone that wanted to go brown but I've always wanted to go as far as honey brown but my biggest concern was not damaging my curls which I've worked soo hard to grow healthy. With a little bit of research and help I was able to settle on hair dye from Clairol Color which is a Black owned hair dye company. The process was super easy and I made sure to condition and moisturize my curls as much as I could. To say I am satisfied with my hair color results is an UNDERSTATEMENT. I love the balance of the brown with a hint of blonde and on top of that my hair has never been healthier. I definitely recommend my curl haired girls to dye their hair, but jus make sure you do enough research on what products you will be using on your hair.

Peachy Glam✨
I normally struggle with peachy orange tones because I feel they always look too much on me but recently I decided to take a risk and create a peach based glam look perfect for the day or a night out. To create this eye look I used Nars Afterglow palette in the shades (Shadow Hill, Crushed, and Bayadere I) To go deep into the peach shades I used Huda Beauty's Desert Dusk palette in shades (Desert Sand, Eden, Blazing, and Angelic. I also normally stray away from blush but I wanted to emphasize the warmth in this look so I added some of the shade Blazing from Huda Beauty's Desert Dusk palette on my cheeks to give me some warmth and color in my face. To finish off this look I paired it with my go to nude lip combo. When I create looks I usually use the same products for my eyebrows, eyelashes, face, and I switch the eye palettes, highlight, and sometimes my lip products. Overall I loved this look because it pushed me out of my comfort zone but I still felt and gave off natural vibes.

I do it for my ancestors✨
Every month for me is black history month. I thank my ancestors for paving the way for me to be able to accomplish my wildest dreams. Every day I am PROUD to be a black woman✨
