Cool as the Summer Breeze
I am back ! I know y'all it's been a while since I have blogged last but I am happy to say I am back and here to stay. I took a bit of a hiatus because towards the fall and winter Covid cases spiked in NYC and if I'm going to be completely transparent with y'all I wasn't buying new clothes / accessories because I wasn't going anywhere. During my hiatus I focused more on IG reel content , and really focused on developing pillar content on my IG platforms that spoke to my audience.
Needless to say it feels good to be back creating fashion content. Recently I decided to work with one of my favorite photographers, His name is Alex and you can find him on instagram @shootinmyshot. The idea was to create something cool, casual, and perfect to wear for the incoming change of the season. To be honest guys, I wasn't a fan of this outfit in the beginning. I was truly struggling trying to find something in my closet that would match together given, I haven't bought any real new clothes since the pandemic especially for the new season of summer. Regardless I took this super cute crop top t- shirt from Forever 21 and just kind of went with whatever matched. Y'all know I love my nudes and olives so I based this outfit off a mix of browns nudes, and a slight tint of olive. Along with the outfit being created spur of the moment, the turnout of this photoshoot happened on a whim. We were scouting for some spots near Madison Square park but the photos weren't turning out the best. We later spotted a museum looking building with lots of natural sunlight.
Y'all when I tell you guys this lighting was too good not only did it bring out the colors of my outfit , but we barely needed any editing for the final photos. That is something that I and the photographers I choose to work with, pride ourselves in. Overall this shoot was one of my favorite shoots I've ever done and the lesson in all of this you can make anything you wear look good ! I hope you guys find some inspiration in this outfit and I cannot wait to share more fashion content with you guys!
